GENERAL INFORMATION

MassCEC offers awards to properties that install qualifying air-source heat pump (ASHP) systems, which provide highly efficient heating and cooling.

This program is part of MassCEC’s $30 million Clean Heating and Cooling program, which supports technologies that provide customer cost savings and environmental benefits while maintaining a high level of comfort and reliability.

For Residential applications, you will need to submit the following with your application:
  • Copy of project site electric bill (must show residential rate code).
  • Copy of paid Invoice showing complete model numbers and install date.
  • If applicable, income verification application through www.massceciverify.com, electric bill rate code, Mass Save income letter, or fuel assistance letter.
  • If applicable, Manual J calculations.
  • If applicable, electric resistance replacement verification.
For Commercial applications, you will need to submit the following with your application:
  • Copy of project site electric bill (must show commercial rate code).
  • Copy of paid Invoice showing complete model numbers and install date.
  • If applicable, Manual N calculations.
  • If applicable, affordable housing verification.
  • Signed W-9.
  • Tax exemption certificate (for public and non-profit entities).
  • If applicable, electric resistance replacement verification.
